Lieve Blancquart lijkt wel altijd onderweg te zijn. Elk project, elke uitdaging, privé of zakelijk, is een reisweg die je tot de eindbestemming moet bewandelen. Dit gaat gepaard met emoties van alle aard, vaak ook het voelen van hoe klein we zijn in deze wereld.
Lieve always seems to be on the go. Every project, every challenge – in her business or private life – is a journey that you must take to the final destination. It involves all kinds of emotions and feelings that often remind us of our insignificance in the world.

ONE ON ONE
De prachtige foto’s van Lieve worden al te vaak gehinderd door omgevingsprikkels vanuit de infrastructuur waarin ze zijn opgesteld. Het blijft moeilijk om architecturale rust te vinden in bepaalde expositieruimtes. Dit gaf de aanleiding voor het ontwerpen van One on One; een mini-doolhof die je van zoveel mogelijk prikkels afzondert. Jij en het werk blijven over, een pure confrontatie.
Lieve’s wonderful photos are often hampered by sensations reflected by the infrastructure where they are exhibited. It’s always difficult to achieve architectural calmness in certain exhibition spaces. This was the reason for designing One on One: a miniature maze that isolates you from all possible stimuli. It’s just you and the work of art, in a pure confrontation.
